Let’s build a monastery together for the 21st century
The French foundation “Benedictine community Prieuré Sainte-Marie de la Garde” has launched a project “Let’s build a monastery together for the 21st century". Within this project, a monastery is emerging in the hilly countryside of Saint-Pierre-de-Clairac near Agen, north of Toulouse in the department of Lot-et-Garonne – planned initially for 25 and in the next few years up to 40 monks. The abbey consists of a manor house and a (former) sheepfold.
The ATB office in France planned the design of a septic tank type AQUAmax® Professional G and was on site for advice and assistance during the building work and installation as well. The system is designed for 60 residents.
